Vietnamese sports delegation temporarily ranks third on the medal tally of the ongoing 29th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Malaysia on August 27, thanks to more medals won in the day by athletes in Taekwondo, Judo, volleyball and futsal.

Vietnam will send a sports delegation made up of 693 members to the 29th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, taking place in Malaysia from August 11 to September 1, targeting 49-59 gold medals and a place among the top three countries in the overall medal tally.
